Address: Swift-Cantrell Park, 3140 Old Highway 41, Kennesaw, Georgia 30144

Date and Time: Sunday, October 24, 1 ‑ 4pm

We have reserved a pavilion called The General.

COVID protocols for the park are as follows and will be observed:

"Due to COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines the number of guests permitted at the pavilions has been reduced to 45. Social Distancing must be observed during your reservation here at Swift-Cantrell Park."

All pavilions have 8-10 tables, so social distancing should be easily achieved during the entire event, especially since additional outdoor space in the park is open for use by those who attend. These spaces include two age-appropriate playgrounds (one of which is among the largest inclusive playground in the state of Georgia), dog park, skate park, and walking trails. Attendees are encouraged to bring yard games of their choice e.g. cornhole, croquet, ladder ball. Due to COVID concerns, a full meal will not be provided, but there will be refreshments. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch and/or dinner.

More details are available at the park website and will be provided to those who register to attend.

There is no charge for this event, but we are accepting donations. Should you choose to support this group, your gift will be a tax deductible donation to AXYS.

Why register? Registering for an event allows us to more easily and quickly notify you of any event updates and changes of time or venue. If you provide us with a cell phone number, we can let you know of any last-minute or emergency updates via text message. We will not call or text you for any other reason. Registration will also allow us to send group-specific news and information by email in the future.

Registering through Network for Good also helps AXYS get grant money as we then can prove the number of people we serve. It will also help us as we move toward legislative advocacy when we can share with elected officials the number of families in our community in a given area (note: we NEVER share contact or personal info, just the overall number of people).

Your registration for or indication to attend any AXYS event indicates your agreement to abide by the AXYS Activities Conduct Policy. AXYS strives to create family-friendly events. We warmly welcome children and teens. Please note that parents are responsible for their children at all times.
