I was born with Triple X syndrome, a rare genetic condition where I have an extra X chromosome (47,XXX) instead of the usual two X chromosomes that females typically have. This extra chromosome is something that many people might not even notice because the symptoms are often very mild and varied, due to limited research on the condition. For me, it has meant a few unique challenges, but I’ve never let that hold me back from living a full life.
Having Triple X syndrome means I might experience things a little differently, like being a bit taller than average, but it doesn’t define who I am. Like many people with this condition, I’ve faced hurdles, but I've also developed strength, resilience, and a determination to push through.
I’m raising funds to attend the 2025 AXYS Community Conference in Atlanta, GA, from July 25-27, 2025. This is an opportunity to connect with others in the Triple X community and learn from leading experts on X&Y chromosome variations. This conference will provide me with valuable insights on how to better navigate life with Triple X and improve my well-being.
Once I reach my fundraising goal, AXYS will cover my registration and hotel fees, making it possible for me to attend. All donations go directly to AXYS, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. I’d greatly appreciate your support through a donation to help me make this opportunity a reality.
